Iphone 4s vs Samsung Galaxy W

Hi folks. I know that's a pretty big gap in terms of price but what makes the Iphone better? I don't know a massive amount about the Iphone to be honest.

I already have a seperate MP3 player and would stick with that to be honest. I love Android and currently use the internet on the Samsung a lot, mainly through apps; Email, news, FB, twitter, checking sports scores etc. I watch a few videos on it, You Tube or news clips.

Just wondering whether it's worth having the Iphone or sticking with the Samsung.

If it aint broke dont fix it. So if you are happy with your Samsung why are you being tempted in something you know little about and might not like

Just stick with waht you've got. If you keep looking you'll keep finding :)

Just got my iPhone yetserday having had nothing but Nokia's.

I cant see what all the fuss is about, mostly hype i think.

I prefer the Nokia user interface. Considering returning it for the N8 or E7.

To me there is far less control with apple e.g. Bluetooth as far as i can see you cant set it to invisible (like Nokia) so if you want your headset on but bluetooth invisible this is not an option.

Also when setting up the iPhone you have to agree to a 64 page contract and if you want to use siri you have to agree that your voice recording can be sent to apple (not something i have agreed to). To much intrusion for me.

Thanks for your replies, that really helps.

I've actually won the Iphone from a comp i entered before 3 finally replaced my old broken phone with the Sansung W. Everyone says I should keep it but I just don't think i need it and also have read a lot of people post in this section that they're over hyped, would rather have the money to be honest!

Just so you know, that's how voice recognition works in the majority of cases. The device itself only captures the sound, and it then sends it up to the cloud where it is processed and analysed before the results are returned to the device.
