Hiya 
we have a friend visiting from spain. Is there a way I can allow him to connect to our internet via wireless using our internet?

depends what you hav avaliable.
Do you have a wireless router?
if you do he can just easily conenct to your network.
If you dont have a wireless router and you have wireless on your computer.
you can set your computer to act as a gateway to allow him to wirelessly connect to your computer and use the internet connection that way.
Anyways before i start blethering on if you could just post what equipment you have and and anything else you can think that might help and ill see what i can think of lol

I'm on orange with the livebox.
I've put the box into pairing mode, and his laptop says connected ( put in wap key ) but can't veiw any web pages?0 -
try 'pinging' google by going in to Start > run > type cmd > when the command prompt window appears type 'ping google.co.uk' and see if you get any responses0

has the laptop got a firewall on it?
it may be blocking the connection0 -
have disabled antivirus and firewall. did the ping again which worked, but when we try to open ie a button pops up saying connect and tries to connect to his spanish internet??0

do they use dial up internet in spain?0

yes, I've just set it to never dial a connection and we have lift off, slow,but lift off!
