Just heard that my dd has arrived home safely from chepstow. She said the M4 is terrible and there are massive queues at the sliproads

my hubby is in Stroud working at the moment he wont have a very pleasant journey ahead of him

It took one of the mums at school 45 mins to get from Bridgend town centre to Brackla !! literally 1.5 miles ! !

I am not liking this now,one day was fun and a novelty but i hate having to walk / drive in it the novelty has worn off lol

not for my sons however ! they are out in it again !

DH is working in Swansea and he's staying put as apparently the city centre is at total gridlock. Great!

Friend just took 3 hours to come home.

hubby is on his way home,not moving very fast on the M4 though ! lol

We live in Pencoed (just outside Bridgend) where are you RachieB, school was closed yesterday and school closed today at 11ish, but its all clear here, it was snowing this morning quite heavily but its just slushy outside. dh is stuck in cardiff waiting for the M4 rush hour to clear. It took MIL 2 1/2 hours to drive from Swansea to Newport this afternoon !!!

We are in Brackla
My 2 boys schools were closed yesterday
they went in as normal today but then we were advised to pick them up this afternoon when it was snowing heavily !

typically the snow then stopped lol :rolleyes: :rotfl:

Hubby came off the M4 @ newport to get some food and see if the traffic would clear a little ! But it is still quite bad

we might see our hubbys by midnight lol
