Well, it's stopped raining in Cardiff and there's still some whiteness, although it's a bit thin.

Lots of lovely snow here in Northampton, schools closed - spent the morning sliding down the golf course hills on a sledge WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH
Havent done that in about 25 years and it was brill.

Quick switch of clothes, hot drinks, tumble drier on and back out for snowman building.

When the baby got me up at about 1.30 am this morning the snow was coming down really heavily, but none of it stuck (in Llanelli). Roads were clear and (thank goodness) the school was open. Walking to school though the pavements were really slushy and a bit slippy.

Hope everyone with snow and/or children enjoyed themselves!!!!

Students love the snow! I have had 2 snowball fights today and some peeps from my year built a snowman outside my uni building, complete with student traffic cone as a hat!

I opened the curtains this morning and there was snow here in Gloucestershire. I whooped out loud.

Why do schools close at the merest hint of snow? When I was at school it would have made no difference even if the heating had failed.
