samsung galaxy s2 v htc sensation xe

Well it's upgrade time again and I am torn between these two phones. I can get each for roughly the same cost and either would suit my needs regarding apps , functionality etc.

The main area I need advice about is sound quality , both of calls through the earpierce and music over the loud speaker . I know the sensation XE comes with Beats earphones and music sounds good through these, but I dont always want to use headphones but I still want decent sound quality.

Thing is I currently have a HTC Desire and the sound quality is really really poor when compared to my previous nokia N95 which was terrific. I like the Sensation XE generally,and the HTC interface, but would be upset if it sounded like my Desire.

I've not heard the Samsung much under real life circumstances so cant really compare the two.

Has anyone an opinion of how the two compare to each other aurally?

I know the S2 sound quality is supposed to be great but haven't used one.
I would go for the S2 because of the AMOLED screen, it is beautiful. I just got my first AMOLED screen phone and would never go back to the S-LCD of the HTC phones even though I do like the HTC phones as well. The S2 is also a little bit faster I think.
