Yes indeedy!!
So, thinking time. £760 for 2 students for 3 weeks in July and a 'void' until we get a new lodger, hopefully at the start of September..or...get a new lodger in at the end of May, £375pm (all being well) and only have 1 student so £380. The latter idea means more money but kind of needs more head space if you see what I mean, which I am not sure I have. Will think on it. Tempted to go for the increase in money but maybe we need the breather.
I am really looking forward to today. OH and I have the day off :T he plans to paint more windows but it's like the hamster wheel has stopped for 24 hours and I can't wait
Have a good day folks

Hope you've had a lovely day.
Can't wait til Monday "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi PG..don't worry..we have a plan:) (see below)
Jwil...thank you I am getting the crazy dance together and so glad I am not working on Monday so that I can luxuriate in the feeling :T
dangers..well it was the plan..but the weather stymied it. So instead he posted his broken phone back to the manufacturer, filed a load of papers, did a bank account app for a company he has set up and then we were very decadent and went for lunch
thrilling it was :rotfl:. So appreciated in a way we would never have thought pre LBM!
In more good news..I was less than pleased with my bank recently. Long story but poor communication and losing paperwork (originals) was at the heart of it. One of their staff suggested I complain..so I did. Well today I got a letter in the post with a cheque for £75 :T I am pretty chuffed and feel that is a very fair result
Thank you C@-p.
In other news..£1.38 on the panels, TTs done and HM dinner of W@itrose sausages, kale with chorizo and apple
and cauliflower cheese. Delicious.
On the lodger front..OH took over
and said let's advertise the room for the day after our current lodger leaves and see where we get to. So he has listed it. Small increase in rent (when you look at the adverts we do seem on medium/low side) so that'd be good. It will be worth more than students so if we get the right person we will be very pleased. Can only hope.
Pity it's such a miserable evening..feel like doing more...full of energy today!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Hello all
I have been intrigued by hay boxes etc since I was small...the old Romany tricks are the best..but have just seen Elaine's thermal cooker tutorial and bought it. I was thinking of buying one (£60!) so I figure let's make one. It should be even cheaper than our amazing SC. Quite excited really and looking forward to getting crafty!:)
What else..just been out for a drink with OH and the kids. Really nice. £15 spent so fairly frugal too. Now stove lit (using free wood picked up from the street) and film about to be watched
Have a good eve folks
