They have so many different plane configs. If you get one of the newer planes you get ICE and decent seats. Otherwise a bit cramped.
Flight service is good, but DXB is a freaking nightmare.

I think the configurations depend on the type of 777. The 3-4-3 version is a much bigger plane.0 -
Just back from Oz (to Glasgow) we had different planes on different legs of journey.
1) join skywards for the airmiles very worthwhile
2) Glasgow to dubai and vice versa leg has ICE which is great but not on other legs of journey
3) over all a good service
4) Gordon's gin 1 litre in dubai airport was approx £5! Brisbane duty free much more expensive
Enjoy, we had a fabulous holiday and can't wait to go back.0 -

Why?
My only criticism was that I couldn't find anywhere to buy an alcoholic drink (and coffee was rather expensive). If you think DXB is bad, how would you cope with somewhere like CDG? Or foul Frankfurt?0 -

There's a 24 hour Irish Bar that does a good range of alcoholic drinks and decent bar food! It's towards one end of the 'long' transfer terminal, so you have to walk away from the main duty free bit to find it.0
