T-Mobile PAYG to SIM only

I'm an existing T-mobile PAYG customer. Generally top-up £10-15 per month.

Have been offered a 12-month SIM only deal at £8.71 (300 minutes, 300 texts, unlimited internet, plus another booster i.e. landline calls or unlimited texts).

Is this a good deal?

Or could I do better elsewhere? or even haggle them down?!

New customers can get the same for £10.21, but with £50.50 TCB cashback that makes it £6.00.
If you want to save a few quid buy it through TCB, then port your old number if you want: Moving my number from T-Mobile to T-Mobile!

Sounds like too much hassle all this porting lark!
  • Can anyone think of a better offer than the above for £8.71 ?

300+300+Unltd+booster for £8ish is difficult to beat, but you have never told your actual requirements in terms of m+t+Mb

Talkmobile do 6*£8 tariff with £30ish cashback available.

    Hi grumbler,
I'll check out the Talkmobile tariff.
Well basically, I have an old Nokia handset. my requirements: basic internet to check Yahoo emails and Facebook, a medium amount of texts and at least some talk time (at the moment I avoid making calls on T-mobile Text Appeal PAYG due to the cost!).

only concern is: is 300 mins enough ?

Chitter-chatter do 600+500+Unltd/500Mb for 12x£10. However, it's the same t-mobile and I think you'll have to port the number in two steps.
