I'll say it again Brett, and I'm being harsh for your own good!
University study and nursing practice both require you to do an awful lot of thinking for yourself. You might want to consider trying to solve some of your (very minor) problems on your own rather than coming on here and just asking others to give you every answer you want. How do you think the people answering your questions know the info? They found it out for themselves at some point!
If your access course is one year and starts in September, then you'll be looking at attending university interviews this time next year. To stand any chance of getting a place on a course that is competitive now and will only get more competitive as the fees go up for non NHS courses, you really need to start doing a bit more problem solving and independent learning.
What is it that makes you think nursing is for you? You'll have ultimate responsibility for your patient's safety and wellbeing, the buck will stop with you, you won't be able to check in with somebody else for every decision or every answer.0 -
Are there seriously schools which are not giving students GCSE Maths?
Jesus christ.
The majority of Universities and employers value GCSE, A Level, and sometimes IB. Almost anything else is thought of as inferior, unless there is no alternative. Why do schools peddle this tosh?Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”
Said Diogenes, “Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.”0 -
