My Starbucks card used to allow me to pay for a drink and get a filter coffee for £1 or extras such as another shot , syrup cream etc for free
It is being " improved " apparently.
I can be at" green" level now and get every 15 th drink free ( only a tall mind) and then I get to 50 points ( ie 50 cups bought) I can be a " gold" ,ember and win back free syrup etc again ( and have spent about £150 on
Coffee thought the card - yeah right!!).
Marvellous " improved service" I don't think.
I'll stick o Nero - better coffee and ANY drink free as the 10th one ( even the huge ones with sticky sweet stuff etc).
Yours grumpily!

If you're an existing registered card member prior to today, you'll be gold automatically. So nothing actually changes beyond getting a new card in the post eventually with your name on it.

Not yet they haven't
I think there is like a 4 week review period for people to update their addresses and stuff, but better sooner than later
Check your email address is correct as well. You should have had an email last night/this morning explaining the changes.Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

I only had a free shot of syrup offered once the whole time I'v had my card. Never received any other freebie. So I possible this will be better.0

The personalised card is one of the American benefits, no sign of us getting it over here any time soon unfortunately.
Taking away the 50p off filters and the free drink with whole bean/VIA has not gone well at all (so the comments on the Facebook page seem to say!)£2 Savers Club 2014 #38 | 20p Savers Club 2014 #37 | 50p Savers Club 2014 #29

Starbucks is my local to work coffee shop. Just as a treat though now, as a student I'd have 2 or 3 a day!0

Why do people keep making the incorrect assumption that being a member of MSE means you can't spend any money on anything vaguely non-essential?
I like Starbucks coffee. I save money on other things which means I can afford to "waste" my money on Starbucks coffee if I so wish (which I do!).0
