They'll also find that commercial insurance will decrease.
As they price uk drivers out of the market, commercial drivers will be on eu licences and insurance, and uk insurers will find their most lucrative business dries up.

That's the problem with having a purely price focused market.
Most people like cheap insurance for them personally, shareholders want a payout now, directors work for their bonuses until they personally retire, governement works for their own time in power.
Tomorrow never comes for them, they're all gone by then.
  • I never thought I would say this but I am starting to think in favour of nationalising the industry. Let the government run it.
Mr Straw described whiplash as "not so much an injury, more a profitable invention of the human imagination—undiagnosable except by third-rate doctors in the pay of the claims management companies or personal injury lawyers"

  • Try insuring four people on the same insurance policy for the same car. My sister insured a second car with an Admiral multi car policy and added a fourth person to drive. It suddenly dropped the total premium by £800 for no other reason.
  • Car insurance firms determine your policy rates by the amount of danger they believe you and your car to be. Commonly, they find people under the age of 25 to be the top danger, especially alone males. Here is a few simple tips to get support you get some discounts

you might get a lower quote on for instance a classic mini or a volvo estate! Seriously uncool

Very true. My daughter got a quote of £500 to insure a 1986 Volvo 240.

But she said it was so uncool and felt like a tank she refused to drive it.
