hi Spiro, on my statement they have the readings for 30/11 as 46492 and on the 28/10 as 49872 . Cant be right can it, nothing about an elctricity bill gets less !?

But your reading for Dec is 51187 so although the 30/11 E read may be wrong the only way the bill is going is up. Your first post was suggesting that they were overcharging you which now doesn't appear to be the case at all.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
  • hello, Jimjames, no ,I wasnt suggesting they were overcharging me, I was suggesting that my bill was wrong ,since the figures they had provided said I had used £418 worth of leccy for December and I had only used £600ish for the rest of the year. Using the correct figures, I only used £111.29 worth for November AND December. I agree it is just moving figures around but now I can see why it seemed wrong, there was a discrepancy of 3,000KWH in December.

Has the meter been changed? Maybe the change of meter details were not input incorrectly on your account, resulting in the discrepancy?
  • Hi Matt, the metre was chnaged but two or even three years ago so I dont think its that.
    thanks
