  • Im aware of that pcombo, my concerns are over the reviews regarding the website and the items not just because it is chinese!

    of course you can - but this is dependent of if its blatently obvious its a fake - e.g. A mulberry handbag (mulberry are only made in the UK).

    OP if you wish to share what the item was we can advise, alternatively, call your credit card company and see what they say.

    If they are counterfeit the Credit card company may say you have to ship it back to China and prove you posted it, ignore that advice and inform them as per legislation in the UK it is illegal to post counterfeit goods.

    See what the CC company say is your best route here...

    oh and p.s. chinese website, if a chinese company means you arent covered by the DSR's on this...
  • The item is a pair of GHDs, I have checked on the official GHD website and they have confirmed the company I have bought them from are not authorised retailers. Obviously should have done all of this before but was hoping for a bargin!!!

    call your credit card company and explain - they will be best placed to advise you in order to file claim against the retailer.

    Sorry to be a pedant but a number of Mulberry bags are actually made in China, particularly Alexas. I don't want anyone looking at the label inside their bag and thinking it's fake because it says made in China.
