We managed to book Butlins twice last year. The first weekend in September at Bognor Regis which was great as the first Monday back at school was an inset day so the kids didn't miss any school and the second holiday was the Friday they broke up for Chirstmas when we went to Minehead and we managed to tie it up with a Monday to Thursday break so we had 6 nights/seven days for less than £300 in silver two bed accommodation! Excellent value and the kids had a fantastic time. :j0

Can any one recommend any sites in north devon? And would you upgrade.
We have been to lakeside in somerset the past couple of times and it is a great site not jam packed in. If you like fishing they have their own lake (we don't) but still nice site.0 -

Can anybody recomend some good parks??? have two kids 5 and 8 don't want to travel too far!! live North Wales what is Trecco Park Porthcawl like???
My mum lives in Porthcawl on Trecco Bay so I go there alot - its very good for kids and if you like a fairly busy full on holiday - as with most big parks (this one is Parkdean) onsite shops, activites are fairly expensive but the kids will have a great time - they have an indoor waterworld much like Butlins and an outdoor splashzone with fountain type things for kids to run around under - theres a mini golf course which is really nice, a big outdoor park and zipslide, football courts - also an indoor softplay called JungleJims, arcades and dodgem cars. there is a big indoor entertainment venue for the evenings called Showdome and also several bars - all very modern as millions has been spent on this site last few years - theres a few shops, takeaways etc and a Spar type shop - the beaches are lovely and the harbour area is nice for a walk, always boats to look at and a lifeboat station, the town is fairly small run down in areas but all shops you could want there - some parts of Porthcawl are run down as there is a big new marina planned I think they are about to have a revamp, but other parts are lovely - you'll also be close to McArthur Glen at Bridgend- excellent designer outlet shopping centre and also near to Margam Park which is a lovely day out if the weather is good. You'll either love or hate Porthcawl - its very popular, my mums caravans are always booked out - though I guess with the Sun offer you get standard caravans rather than luxury ones - the park is also flat...which is a bonus! Can be windy seems to have its own little microclimate but always something to do so kids the age you have should enjoy themselves. I guess if you are close to Pwhelli then its about a 3 hour drive?0 -

Hi guys
Sorry if this is the wrong thread but looking for a priority code for my OH sister's family.
We discussed the offer a couple of weeks back when it was announced and said we would go together (two families of 4 & 5) but the numpties have been collecting the Mirror tokens  and they don't offer the same parks and we are restricted on dates due to kids.
We would like to book on Tuesday/Wednesday to ensure we get the same week/park (or even area) so if anyone has an unwanted priority code could you consider us please.
Thanks

Bognor Regis and Minehead are both Butlins. Minehead seems to be the most favourable.Whoever said 'Money doesn't bring happiness' isn't using it properly.0 -
does anyone know how much it is for a extra night at butlins on a £15 holiday0
