I think I am going to have to knock Brittany on the head. I've been looking at ferry costs to Brittany and they are very very expensive, approx £300-£400 return.
How much cheaper can the sun make it?0 -

Is Dover/Folkestone-Calais out of the question then? We usually use Eurotunnel and travel down to the Vendee, with a stayover close to Dover the night before.0 -
Thank you to you early birds for putting the codes up!
I am hoping for Warmwell this year during one of the children's holidays. Have tried for 4 years with no luck yet - has anyone ever been there on these holidays during the kids breaks?0 -

With the daily mail it's £39 for the return ferry. We booked a week in June (half term) with ferry in Brittany in a caravan for £368 all in. HTH.

I have just been for a look at the Daily Mail site, we want to go to Butlins at Skegness during the Easter hols and was hoping someone might be able to answer some questions that have been before.
I can get Mon - Fri starting on 16/4 for 5 people costing £52.50, which I think is a decent price and not much different to the Sun price. However the accomodation is listed as standard but it doesn't say if that is an apartment or a caravan. We want to be in one of the apartments and standard ones are fine but having experienced standard caravans before it's not something we would go for again. We always upgrade when we go through the Sun holidays, yes it costs more but it's worth it we think.
So does anyone have any experience of these Daily Mail hols and is likely to be an apartment or a caravan??
Thanks in advance0 -

the Butlins accommodation is usually in the standard chalets.

So do Sun perks bookers get priority over people with priority codes as they will have two codes so will be ahead. Bit confused!0

We will not know the answer to this until the weekend - what might happen is that as soon as the booking site goes live Perks members code word GLOW will be accepted and so they will get first choice whilst the rest of us all guess the last word...
