    A
  • picked up one of these - seemed too cheap not to :j

replacing an older Oral-B plaque remover which doesn't hold charge as well as it used to.
  • Do you reckon I could ring my local SuperDrug and ask them to put one by for me? When I went in the Sales Assistant didn't know ANYTHING about electric toothbrushes and was really un-helpful. I really would like to get one of these
  • Went to superdrug in St Albans yesterday, bought 2 @ £16.49 each. They were not on the shelf but a really helpful assistant found 5 out back in the store room. An excellent first MSE transaction. Kool !!

Er, of course you could. Also, try the Pharmacy bit if there is one as they oft seem to have the lecky brushes on a shelf behind the counter.
  • had some others though, but not that one. and the others were around 45 quid and up.. anyone wanna buy one for me and I'll send you paypal for it and the delivery? !
  • Not quite as good as the Oral-B offer, but in Exeter Superdrug today, they had the Philips Sonicare 5500 Elite Toothbrush HX5551/02 for £35.

The full specifications can be viewed at

    http://www.expresschemist.co.uk/product_9614_philips-sonicare-elite-easy-start-toothbrush-hx5551.html

The same brush is currently on sale at Boots for £79.99 and even on Ebay it goes for £50, so £35 has got to be a good deal if you're looking for a Sonicare brush.

I imagine this offer is also nationwide.

  • My mum tried in Winchester today and somebody was restocking that section and didn't know anything about it, she will try Fareham tomorrow.
  • for those who are wondering about whether the Braun/Oral B 7500 is good or not from a dentist's point of view; i have had one for over a year, and i definitely recommend it :-)
