Do you reckon I could ring my local SuperDrug and ask them to put one by for me? When I went in the Sales Assistant didn't know ANYTHING about electric toothbrushes and was really un-helpful. I really would like to get one of these0

Er, of course you could. Also, try the Pharmacy bit if there is one as they oft seem to have the lecky brushes on a shelf behind the counter.0 -

Not quite as good as the Oral-B offer, but in Exeter Superdrug today, they had the Philips Sonicare 5500 Elite Toothbrush HX5551/02 for £35.
The full specifications can be viewed at

The same brush is currently on sale at Boots for £79.99 and even on Ebay it goes for £50, so £35 has got to be a good deal if you're looking for a Sonicare brush.
I imagine this offer is also nationwide.
