I hope this isn't already posted, but apologies if it is.
Today in Superdrug in Exeter, I saw the Oral-B Professional Care 7500 DLX Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush for £16.49.
The model features:
8,800 oscillations/40,000 pulsations per minute
2-minute memory timer and 30 second interval timer
Pressure sensor
Dual Speed
Full Charge Indicator
And the pack contains:
1 Oral-B Professional Care Power Handle
1 Flexisoft Brush head
1 Dual Action Brush head
2 Interspace Brush heads
Travel Case
These seem to be discontinued now, but I found one that sold for £35 on ebay. I bought the last two in the shop, figuring that if I put the second one on ebay, I should hopefully get around £30, meaning that I'll have got the toothbrush I have left for less than a fiver. This should be in other stores. It scanned as ELECTRICAL ACCY.

Hi, does it say Professional care on the box? Apparently there is a difference and the lower model isn't the "Pro Care" model....

Cheers
On the front of the box, it says:
Oral-B
ProfessionalCare
7500 DLX
You'll see that ProfessionalCare is all one word and it has a trademark sign on it.

thanks OP, got one from the store in Manchester. The brushheads and the travel case alone worth about £5, this makes the tooth brush only around £10, what a bargain. The 7000 version is still at £40
)
They have some left in Manchester store (Piccadilly Gardens), you need to ask as the toothbrush is not displayed on the shelf.Titch0 -
Thanks to the OP. Great brush and bargain price.0

Tried in my local store, there were an 8500 and a 7000 behind the counter on the shelf but no 7500. The SA was so stupid I can't believe it I had to tell her about 20 times what I wanted and then she said, oh sorry, just what's there on the shelf... Grr unhelpful SA's really annoy me.
But, looking at the prices of the others there on the shelf, it was a great bargain they were 45 pounds and upwards! Someone go and get one for me!:T0 -
I looked earlier also, couldn't see it though; checking a different store when I go back home tomorrow0

Just as a pointer to anyone still hunting for these, like letuongthuy2000 said I had to ask the assistant at the store as they were not displayed at all. He was fine and went to check in their stock room and then came back with the brushes, scanned them and said "Oh that looks like a good deal!". So don't be put off if they're not on display and if an assistant says they have none, ask them to go check for you.
I got to use mine for the first time this morning after a full charge and my big smile after getting this bargain has never felt better!0 -
There's four in my local store (SEL @ £64.99) but I've read online reviews and they're not favourable...0

I've used 1 for more than 2 years without any problem, not sure why it's not favourable. AFAIK, above 7500 model, there's not much improvement in speed or pulse, but some extra fancy things (screen showing bettery level, or stepless speed).
£64.99 is not a bargain for this brush, but £16.49 is definitely a bargain.Titch0 -

I had a look at the reviews at
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/customer-reviews/B0000C05JW/ref=cm_cr_dp_2_1/202-0451365-8657404?ie=UTF8&customer-reviews.sort%5Fby=-SubmissionDate&n=11052661
These people will have all paid full price of around £65.00. You can see that two people give it a low rating. One of these dropped it and rated it low due to the fact that he considered it to be of poor build quality. Another rated it low as they had not managed to charge it up. Others gave it higher ratings and everyone seems to agree that it is very good at cleaning teeth.
