I got one today in my local store and like everyone else has said it wasnt on display so I asked a SA to check in the stock room, so got myself a bargain thanks to Edindevon :T0

Many thanks Edindevon. I tried all three superdrugs in our local city and the last one had some out the back:D
The first store said that someone else had just been in hunting for these.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Great post, was looking for a replacement brush and found this bargain! Many thanks!0

are they still out there in that case? Maybe I should try my local again this evening, and ask them to check the stock room? Trouble is, the SA always seem to pretend to check stock rooms because they can't be bothered. . .0

Many thanks OP!
A question for anyone who also managed to get one and has it to hand.
My box wasn't sealed and although the brush heads were still sealed packed, I just want to check about the model number, as there is nothing on the inside to confirm it is the 'ProfessionalCare 7500 DLX' that the box states.
On the top of the box, on the top right mine states 'D 17545 X' and on the side above the barcode 'type 4 729'. The enclosed leaflet/ instruction manual has 'D 17 525' and 'D 17 525 X' on the front and 'Type 4729' on the bottom right of the front of the leaflet. On the underside of the brush itself 'type 4736' is printed.
Do you all have these different and seemingly contradictory codes on the packaging and item itself, or is it just mine? Have I got a mixed up return? Were yours all sealed?
much appreciated if anyone can help.0 -

The pictures of it are at: http://www.oral-b.com/products/product.asp?tid=products&sub=power&cid=power&pid=3dexcel
And the one I managed to get has exactly the same descriptions on it as yours. They promised the earth...and delivered mud. Technically though it did meet the spec.0 -
