Confused by tv/phone/b-band packages!!

My parents have a package with Talk Talk which provides home phone, broadband and tv and I'm sure I could find a better deal.

However, my question is, they have a new tv with freeview hd so does that mean they still need to be paying for the tv part of the package? If not can they just look for alternative phone and broadband packages?

Please help cos the whole thing is driving me nuts!

If they don't use it cancel it. It hasn't been sold for about a year according to that. Make sure that cancelling doesn't kick off a new minimum contract term because of the change.

In general TalkTalk BB + phone are pretty much at the bottom end of the price spectrum and the main complaints about them are based on poor customer service.

You may well be able to find a better deal but not necessarily one that is significantly cheaper if you are equating better to cheaper.
