Had a good night with my eBay sales last night, made £147.54 profit, which I'll pay off the credit card when I recieve it all (grrr to slow payers and echeques!!).
Sale of the day was a rubber duck purchased in Berlin for a Euro years ago, sold for 0.99p!lol Not much but I was going to chuck it out!
Also managed a NSD yesterday, but sadly won't have one today with shopping, booking train tickets to leeds for me and the OH for next week, though I am resisting nights out both tonight and tomorrow, got everyone coming round my house tonight, which is very MSE, might even have a beer or two!:)

    Thanks on both!:)

Well I managed only one NSD over the weekend, but only spent £6.90 on Saturday so that wasn't too bad!

I've also found a car that is a bargain , trouble is its in the South West, so a mighty trip for it, so going to employ the Dad to go and get it has he's only 30 miles away from it, then I'll be having a mini roadtrip to go get it!!:)

No recent debt repayments, just waiting to get paid on the 1st!

I know what you mean about waiting for pay day! We do all our debt busting on payday and the rest of the month is spent living within budget and being sensible (if possible) not to make any unnecessary purchases. However, we usually hit a stumbling block mid-month when we're bored of being good. I could be as simple as popping to the Co-op and spending more than we should have on things we forget in our online shopping but it's annoying when it could have been a bit more off the debt!! Oh well, I suppose it's good to rebel once in a while and the Coop is so rock'n'roll :O)

Haha, I know what you mean, I'm going to see a comedian in Bradford this Friday night, which has meant train tickets and megabus back plus tickets, but you have to have some enjoyment, I certainly havn't spent anywhere near the £150 on entertainment that I budgeted for which is good! I'm also away next week for work, which means overnight payments, lots of overtime (3 hrs per night!) and also expenses! So I should save money on food and earn a bit more too!
My vice is trying to buy about 10 different fruits from Asda, I'm so gangster me!!lol

Had to spend £5.00 on food today while being on-site! I had made some chicken curry with plenty left over, so brought it in for lunch today, but a job that should have taken an hour actually took 6 because of inept contractors:mad:, I only got back to the office at 4.15pm.
Frustrated, but thats life and I was starving!:rotfl:

Using a works car to get home and pick up the OH so I suppose its all relative!:p

    Have a good evening all!!

Oh well, the best plans 'n' all;) Can you keep the curry refridgerated for tomorrow?

Take a look at my diary, you'll see I had quite a blip yesterday but have managed to get back on track today. I think it's all about doing things within reason and not being too harsh on yourself if they don't go exactly according to plan. The danger with becoming so into the DFW mindset is that you're initially pleased with taking control of the situation but this can easily slip into major control of other aspects of your life. It's a balancing act. You are so right tho, you do need some down-time and what better way than to go see a comedian:rotfl:

Yep the curry is in the fridge for today!;)
I know what you mean about the control side of things, yesterday I found myself getting really frustrated about sitting around waiting for other people, when really I should have just relaxed and reminded myself that I was getting paid to do nothing!:rotfl:

Can't wait for the comedian, realised me and the OH havn't had a night out with just the two of us since we had the big news! So really looking forward to it!

I'm off to check out your diary again now!:)

Well I'm back from working away, I'm completely shattered, but a whole lot better off thanks to 28.5 hours of overtime and everything being paid for out of expenses, so saved myself £25 for the weeks shopping!

Also managed to make £79.87 on eBay items that finished last night!!:)
Really happy with that result as most of the stuff was going in the bin, i.e an empty Xbox360 case selling for £3.21!!:rotfl:
Just goes to show you can sell anything!!

    *Edit*

Forgot to mention that I paid off another £100 of my Barclays CC, taking the total to slightly less than £370 :) This will be getting paid of when I get paid next Wednesday!

Also managed another 4 NSD, and will hopefully manage another one today, I think 20 for the month is a realistic target!

On the downside (upside :) ) I've spotted a car I've been after for 6 months, hmmm, really not sure what to do!?!?

Need to update my sig now!:D

    Long time no post!

Well today should be my second NSD of the new month!:)

Yesterday I signed myself up to the company pension scheme, 5% of my salary(!!), although I can change the amount online, and its fully matched by my employer! This is another big step for me- planning for my future!:) The way I justified it to myself was that it's 3hrs overtime extra per month, which will be easy to do!

Had the 13 week scan of bump on Monday, went well- everything developing as it should!! So happy!!:D

All in all, going quite well, going to clear the Barclaycard tonight when I can phone them as I've barred my online login:mad:!
