Help INR now arrived!

Is there a posting date on the package anywhere, to show when it was actually posted.
Personally when I order stuff in December, I wouldn't be going down the INR route until sometime in January as there is too much chance of it just being delayed. I'm not saying that the OP should have done this as circumstances vary. But unless there were specific reasons (e.g. tracking information), I would leave it a bit longer.0 -
Out of interest, does it show on the packaging what date it was posted?0

It really annoys me that too many posted or otherwise delivered letters and packages nowdays don't give information. Such as posting date and postage charges. For cases such as yours, this would be really useful information.
I had a memory card I bought in early December, about the 5th. Around about the 20th, I contacted the seller (Amazon marketplace, not ebay) and asked about it. They responded that they wanted me to wait 15 working days. Around the 27th, I contacted them again. And on the 28th it arrived. I did really scan the envelope carefully for a posting date, as I was suspicious that it wasn't sent until the 20th. But no indication at all.0 -
It's something i've noticed lately that most of things i recieve with a large letter stamp aren't franked.0

I would offer to send it back to them for return postage.0
