Hi All,

No self-scan checkouts so just went for 1 of the £1.99 shots, 2x 79p multi vitamins and a Nivea shaving balm as it was half price (and its what i use every day) at £2.64 and the total to pay was £3.43. Saved £5.43.

The 3for2 worked so saved 79p and then the £1.99 came off so paid 79p total for the 2x multi vits and the shot - not bad!

When the SA saw the total price she scanned one of the vitamins again and then took it off so she was obviously a bit wary but then just asked for the money as normal.

I had to go through a manned till as we have no self-scan tills.
The OP was a bit confused so he called over his supervisor. She said to put it all through again and it still came up at £2.95 so they accepted it!!!

I'm afraid you seriously missed out poorgirl. You need to buy in multiples of 3 and you've got 1 more shot than you did vitamins so I'm not quite sure the effect that had. Glad you're happy with your haul though, that's what matters

There's only one size of the shots candy, they say either revitalise or reenergize and both work on the offer. One is orange flavour, one is tropical and they're both £1.99.

You need to buy in multiples of 3.

3 x vitamins and 3 x shots gives you 41p off your shopping.

6 x vitamins and 6 x shots gives you £2.81 off your shopping.

This quote is only if you buy the 79p vitamins. There's an explanation above as to how much comes off regardless of the price of vitamins which will be helpful if you don't want the cheap ones.

No shots in my local store but the girl in front of me had a no 17 ( I think ) nude palette and it rang up as 000. The assistant tried again and didn't quite know what to do so just handed it to her .I was tempted to go and get one and try but it is a very small store so didn't bother

Hi, many thanks for this one.

I went to 3 different Boots today and only one of them had the shots in.

I took the last 6 on the shelf. I bought 3 Garlic Extract caps 1.59 @ each and 3 cod liver oil also 1.59, I could not find the cheap vitamins. also bought Fusion razor blades @ £9.49

Total to pay £9.88.
There was not SS and the lady on the till was confused, she kept trying to scan the blades and said that they were not scanning..... I had to tell her that the shots were free with the vitamins, then she said ahhh OK.
My receipt says total savings today £21.09 great!!!!
