I was with you before - I don't get it, but guess that's why it's a glitch! Anyone got a receipt they could scan in please? Would like some vit C tablets, but trying to work out what the glitch is actually doing to give £2.81 off is making my head hurt!

If you buy 6x boots vitamin c tablets (79p) each and 6 x shots u will get £2.81 off the rest off ur shopping because aswell as the shots being in the 3 for 2 they r also free when u buy vitamins, hence the glitch

also a £4.25 handwash and a £1 sandwich

total £8.81

came to £2.84 to pay

didn't use any coupons...forgot!

I make that £5.97 off my shopping....sorry if that's wrong!

Shots are free but vits are 3 for 2 so have to pay to 2 out of every 3

The shots and vitamins have to be bought anyway for the glitch to work (& vitamins will be free if under £2) ...I think most ppl want to know how much more they need to spend on other shopping so they wouldn't end up with a minus figure. (If they were to buy the same as u)

A huge thank you to the OP. Nearly out of multi-vits for me and the kids. Went to boots and purchased the following:

3 x Revitalise Shot at 1.99 each
3 x Reenergise Shot at 1.99 each
3 x Wellwoman 30s at £7.60 each
3 x Bassetts Omega3 30s at 5.65 each

Total came to £20.53

The total for the vitamins alone on the 3 for 2 offer (which is what I normally buy them at) should have been £26.50
Basically I got an additional £6 (almost) off the vitamins and 6 free shots.

1 x Colgate 50ml advanced white toothpaste £0.94 (half price)
1 x listerine tooth brush £1.09 (half price)
1 x no.7 face wipes @ £2 (had £5 no7 voucher)

this came to a total of £3.66!!!! Paid from my purse. I wouldnt usually buy small toiletries but it's for my son at uni when he goes on sports weekends. I was shocked the SA didn't query it, she didnt bat an eyelid! My receipt is so confusing that I gave up, but I do have 9 x £1.99 credits!

3 Listerine Total care mouthwash bottles (half price) reduced to £1.05

Total to pay 54p plus i got 262 Boots points in total.

My receipt doesn't actually make any sense as I think I was overcharged for one lot of vits and then ti was taken off again- but cashier was happy that we got it right in the end.

I did another lot at a different Boots as well. 6 vits , 6 shots and 3 lots of toothpaste for a total of 41p , but cashier wasn't happy to take the 250 points voucher and I didn't push it as I didn't want to draw attention to myself.

I also got the £5 off any No 7 Item with both transactions.
