Sorry your maths is off, you're forgetting that the till sees +1.99 for each shot before it subtracts the -1.99 as the free shot.

Its the 3for 2 that then makes the -1.99 come off your bill, less the price of vitamins.

to those worrying about the discount i would just get the vitamin items along with a couple of bits u need knowing that you will save money off your items and get all the vitamins free also, would be better and easier i think to use selfserve if your not buying lots of other items

I wonder if, as the till sees the shots as vitamin products, and there are two different types, if you buy 3 of each one and no vitamins at all, if it'd still work?

I'm not brave enough to try it lol

can you explain how you got around £2.80 off your shopping? TIA. According to my maths you'd get 41p off your shopping if you bought 3 vits at 79p each and 3 shots at £1.99 each. If you buy 6 of each you would get 82p off your shopping wouldn't you?

just back from boots. Wasn't sure if the glitch would work as I couldn't see any signs anywhere about the free shots. Took a chance on SS tills and the glitch worked. I got £3.81 off my shopping:T I bought 6 vitamins & 6 shots and used an ACM voucher for £1 off WYS £5 on healthcare. I also have a £1 off mailing voucher I could have used, but I didn't want to push my luck:)

dont know why it takes more off but ive tried a few times so more saving if you buy in 6's, i managed to stok up on baby wipes (and get lots of advanage points) for next to nothing so im one happy bunny
