Getting a MAC Code from Plusnet

Hi all,
Here's the situation... We called Plusnet this morning to request a MAC Code, the minute they opened! We did ask whether we could get one instantly over the phone, but they said there was a problem with that . Anyway, they raised a ticket on our account saying we would receive a MAC soon. 4 hours on and nothing! How long should it take? I know it's legally required within 5 working days, but how long does Plusnet usually take to provide one, because I have seen some ISPs provide them in just minutes.
All replies welcome,
Thanks.

I can't answer your question but I have had experience of companies across a broad spectrum who rigidly stick to the SLAs even though the request can be dealt with immediately in about 20 seconds. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Hi g3nzz,
If you could advise of a ticket ID I'd be happy to take a look at your account and see what we can do?

They had a complete power failure at their Sheffield data centre yesterday following the storms. That might have something to do with it.

I'm moving over to SKY as well from Plusnet. So I hope the same doesn't happen with me.
