900 minutes, Unlimited texts and 500MB internet for £30 a month on Voda.

Should be able to do better now the phones older.

This was a free Galaxy SII handset and 6 month early upgrade which was also £5 cheaper than my old plan.

Got a similar deal to this one. £31 per month but worth the extra fiver for having the phone in my hand. I know, not very MSE but I care not! Thanks for the advice lads and lasses
    In deep...
  • I phoned Vodafone on Tuesday to request my PAC. The guy I spoke to offered me the Samsung Galaxy S2 for £26 a month 300 mins (all I need), unlimited texts plus 500 mb internet. The phone would have cost nearly £50. I turned this down. Within two hours, Vodafone called back and offered me the same phone, free of charge, the 500mb and the 300 mins for £21.50 a month.

Ideally I wanted an iphone but can't really afford one at the moment so have taken this. It is a 24 month contract which I know is a long time but it seemed quite a good deal to me? .........
  • Oh and they also did me a deal for my exising Samsung Tocco lite - £10.25 a month for 600 minutes, unlimited text and 500 mb internet. I have one very happy ten year old who wasn't expecting to get a mobile for some time ......

i called Orange today. my contract ends on the 19th of feb 2012 so i assume they must be offering me upgrade. 2 years ago they sent me out a blackberry 9700 with 400 minutes+unlimited texts+unlimited landline for a £20/pm contract. today they offered me
Smasung Galaxy S2 for £10 upfront..400minutes+unlimited landline+500mb data. Do you think its a good deal?
I am not a texter but I still text about 20-25/pm and this deal doesn't offer any free texts. Any suggestions most welcome.

In other deal they giving free Samsung Acewith above deal but with unlimited data foe £13/pm.
I owm Samsung Galaxy S at the moment and love it...so I really want to have S2 this time.
    thanks

Texts are only about 10p if I remember correctly so probably cheaper to use normal rate.
  • Are VF retentions the firstand only people to call you after you get your PAC code? I requested mine via email and received the code via email. A couple of days later VF called but I was busy and they said they would call back early this week. Is that the Retentions department meaning, I haggle with them and get an agreement or go elsewhere...or is it VF's opening gambit from their renewal department and I await a better deal from retentions?
    Thanks in advance.
