Help - Driving Without Insurance

It's interesting when people are caught by the Police for an illegal act they then try to turn it around and blame the Police. There is no disputing the fact the vehicle was driven without Insurance albeit by mistake why not leave it there ?0

It is interesting when individuals like yourself try to make out I'm doing something which anyone who reads my post could clearly see isn't the case.
I haven't blamed the police for me having no insurance - please direct me to the text where I say that.
I've merely pointed out that they gave misleading information, much as you are doing now, and that the people at the Police Station also gave misleading information and appeared to change their tune when they knew I had evidence which would be used to show their colleague had basically caused us to waste our time.
I/we are guilty of having no insurance - my fault entirely, nothing to do with the police in case anyone else has your powers of comprehension - and when we eventually go to court I'll pay whatever fine is imposed because I deserve to be fined - no problem with that.
I will be making a separate complaint against the police however because there is a Code of Conduct which they didn't adhere to, but I can't give details here as i want to keep the cards close to my chest; I'm sure with your moniker you can at least understand that?0 -
hi all.i am in a real dilema. i just passed my driving test a fw months ago after just having a baby as i needed to start a new job which would usually take about 2 and a hal hour travel by public transport but 3o mins driving. i bought a car off my younger brother and b4 pick up i went online to buy insurance.after entering all my details an choosing cover the website promised instant cover and the option of paying by phone when they opened at 9am the next morning.
confident i had cover i picked up the car and was making my way to work when i was pulled over by police for driving uninsured this really shoked me and i explained my situation and was given a producer. i called the insurance company and paid my money.however when the certificate arrived it stated the cover started when i paid as opposed to when i got the cover and reference number.
i called them and all they kept saying was i had cover anyway. i took the mail insurance note to the station within seven days but was told the insurance started reading after i was stoped and even though they understood what i was saying i wd only get a chance to explain myself in court.
this happened in june and i have only just received a court summons yesterday. i really dont know what to do as if i loose my license as i am within the 2 yrs period i wd have to quit my job and i have my one year old son to support and feed as i have to drop him off at childminders b4 setting off to work every morning. she can only have him rom 7.30am and i start work at 8.30pm.there simply is no wa around this.
pls help.am so angry with thee insurers and this really is genuine0
