mobile broadband share dock

ive got a t mobile broadband share dock 100 + modem stick that we no longer require ,is it linked to the contract sim it was bought with or can i just sell it as is ?

    No - just like a handset, which is the primary device (in your case, the dongle) that might be locked to the network SIM, and this in turn part of a minimum term contract (assuming it isn't PAYG). Any accessory to the contract, like a Router/WiFi accessory, this will be your to do with as you please.

    If selling the lot, it would be best to ensure it is not locked to any network as this will depress the price should you come to sell it. If it is, try and get it derestricted.

    Only the dongle will be restricted, but first - try a sim from a different network first, as there can be times kit misses the locking process and there isn't a problem to resolve. If the dongle refuses to show signal strength for the new SIM network, you'll need to ask T-Mobile for a code to unlock it.
