Timeshare Deal??

Hi there - can anyone help with this please? I have received a letter from Clubseasons.co.uk offering me a week's free holiday in one of their exclusive timeshare appartments in either Portugal, Lanzarote, Costa del Sol or a UK venue - all I pay is £252 ish to help them cover the cost of cleaning and maintaining the property.
They claim it is a luxury venue, and that they are governed by OTE - how can I check whether this is a good deal or a big con?! I have checked their website which looks professional, they have a different registered office to their address listed on the headed paper....does anyone know them? They say they have been around for 20yrs+ and have thousands of members....
I have never been involved or invited to do anything like this before so am naturally a bit cynical about anything that is 'free'.
Thanks.

Its a huge con
Friends of mine went for a timeshar and got suckered in it cost tehm in total 13K they are now thinking of giving it away just to get rid of it and save on the maintance charges.
Steer well clear

its a holiday/vacation club....not buying a specific timeshare property....
other threads on here about them...
I think the first year or so you have to take UK only holidays
