Help!!
Ive recently moved house, we now have virgin tv connected in the lounge (with the sharp, pin type (BNC??) connector that goes into the virgin box) and this is working perfectly. However in my bedroom I have the same aerial connection, but with a tv that Im going to run from the internal freeview (and not linked to virgin) but the aerial lead is the wrong t
Do I need a connector to change from the virgin cable to the coax?
I also need an aerial extension (10metres approx), what type should I go for??
Thanks!

You cannot get a freeview signal from a cable connection. There is no such adaptor. To get freeview, you need to connect an aerial to your TV. The cable connection you describe connects the TV to a cable signal source, not to an aerial.
You will either need to get a Virgin box for the bedroom, or set up an aerial with a feed to the bedroom (assuming the house has no aerial already). Or if you are in a strong signal area, an internal aerial might work. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.

And Virgin use 'F' connectors (not BNC) for all their cable connections - TV and BB. Terrestrial aerials imputs are normally Co-Ax, but some manufacturers are opting for 'F' connectors too.0
