I might just be tempted to "innocently" ask his wife what weekends he will be going on his boy jollys as it would be nice to have a night out with her!!!!:D:D
  • As a neighbour he's a diamond! He always takes my bin out on the correct day (because I work away a lot) and he does bits around the garden. This was always free when he owed me money, I suppose I'll have to start paying him now! But, I think he's got a damn cheek asking a second time, and telling me he doesn't want his wife to know.

He doesn't work, due to disability, but I can just see him dancing on the tables during a weekend away with the lads! The loan wasn't even for something crucial, it was for him to go out on the lash. Without his wife! It beggars belief, he has really made my day!

Yes, Atilla, that thought crossed my mind. I'm still smiling at his bare-faced cheek to be honest!
At least he's being up front with you though, more than can be said with his other half.

Good for you for standing up to him! He doesn't sound honest if he's lying to his wife and didn't pay you back for 7 years last time! He's got a cheek asking again and especially since he's not even desperate, it's just for a lads weekend! My New Year's resolution is to be assertive, sounds like you could give me some tips!
