Four Year iPhone 4 Vodafone Contract?

A quick question on behalf of my father - he rang Vodafone today to discuss a few details about his account and at the same time, inquired about the length of his contract. He started in approx June this year and was informed that it was FOUR years (until 2015) at 40 pounds a month.

Is this even possible? He didn't expect it to be anywhere as long as this, rather the normal 18 month or 2 years. I've searched online and can't seem to find any other examples of this.

Would be very interested to hear whether this is most likely a mistake on his part or Vodafone's.

Thank you.

No such thing as a 48 month contract the maximum they do is 24 months.

Rephone them and ask them when a 48 month contract was agreed.

24 months max is for new contracts.
If one upgrades early the remaining months can be added to the new contract, but I still cannot see how it can be 4 years.

I think your father needs to ring Vodafone again because it sounds like they are trying to pull a fast one or your father just misunderstood

    Hi JamieSeven12,

I would suggest that it is an error as the longest term you can have on a contract is 30 months. That would be if he upgraded with remaining months left.

If you would like me to take a look into this for you, you can email me personally via the address here with WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject.

    Many thanks,
