Not really sure what you mean, but go to start>run>dxdiag>sound and see if thats what you are looking for."I'm not even supposed to be here today."0

Most PC's this day just have onboard sound. It doesn't really have a 'size' as such.
Out of interest, why do you need to know? It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends

I want to buy some wireless speakers on amazon and it refers to 5.1 sound card

Post a link to Amazon so people can see the speakers, and let us know which sound card you have at the moment. Start>run>dxdiag>sound>device name."I'm not even supposed to be here today."0

5.1 and 7.1 soundcards have multiple outputs.0

Carmen, download Belarc from here
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
Install and run it, it will then tell you everything you need to know about your PC.
On the right hand side of the report you should see a section entitled multimedia. That should be what sort of soundcard you have. Tell us what it says. It's my problem, it's my problem

What you need is a 5.1 soundcard. Best way to tell is to look at the back of your PC at the soundcard ( small round holes, coloured ) 5.1 or 7.1 soundcards are coloured like Red/Green/Blue(purple)Black
Your front speakers go in the green, your rear speakers go in the black.
Easiest way to tell if you have a 5.1 sound system
