    Just wondered.

    Anyone got theirs yet?
I got a cryptic robotic message on my work voicemail yesterday saying my "Evesham Micro" order would be delivered today. I presume it's the same people, as they sell the Evesham iPlayer, but the order status still shows "invoiced". It's annoying they refuse to deliver to work addresses - there may not be anyone in to receive it.

  • I got mine last week, great set of speakers, pity the on off switch is behind the sub but other then that they great.
  • They are now expecting 231 of these on 16th March 2007 so thats a whole month later than they were saying yesterday, I guess they just make these dates up then and just how do you order 231 of something anyway?

I would definitely say so, Carmen.

You could pay a lot more and still end up with tinny speakers which these are def NOT.

And you wont always get a blue neon on the front;:)

My verdict: subwoofer works well but, as I suspected from the photos, the small satellite speakers are quite poor - very boxy-sounding. Definitely worth £13 but if you can find an old pair of unamplified PC speakers to connect instead of the supplied satellite ones, it's likely to sound better. You could splash out on a pair of Apple Pro speakers on eBay, chop off the plug, bare the ends of the wires and attach to the speaker terminals on the subwoofer. A fairly pricey solution but they sound good and look marvellous.
