For £13.00
Mine arrived this morning and I cannot recommend these highly enough.

Absolutely amazing value but with tremendous sound quality.

Equal, at least to my lounge stereo, in my view - and that is saying something.

And BTW - I like my music LOUD!!

They are very attractive, well constructed
and the rather heavy woofer has a
beautiful blue neon.

Get some while you can!!!

I bet these pi$$ all over those in terms of performance.

Cant wait to hear everyone's views on them when they get them, and see if they are as impressed as I am.

These look good. Reviews look favourable also.
Pity I just bought some from eBuyer

they are okay, not the greatest. The Altec ones look better, 40W as opposed to 15W

Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.

40W will be fairly indistinguishable in volume from 15W, because of the way the ear perceives sound. Also, this takes no account of the sensitivities of the speakers themselves, so is really just meaningless marketing babble. What matters is how they sound, and I'm relying on rizla01's opinion on this - I will spank him if they're no good! :D

PS out of stock now - more expected on 12th.

The ratings used are very different. The Altec ones are 40W peak and the ebuyer ones are 15W RMS. In fact these have very similar ratings. The Altec speaker ratings are 5.5 watts for satelites and 9 watts for subwoofer at high 10% distortion levels.

Altec Lansings do have a very good reputation in computing circles. Hope these live up to it!
