Thanks for the posts sorry I have not posted so much was without wifi from the 26th to yesterday a long time for me I can tell you. Flying back today right now at a smoking lounge at Tambo Airport perfect for DH as wifi was £4 for 1 hour so cheap really.
Been a fantastic holiday really enjoyed it got a nice tan and feel Tilly ready for 2013.
Lots is going to change good and bad, business is still going to be sold and hopefully that will be for the better for DH and his dad.
Will update properly when I am back but for now Happy New Year to you all.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Morning all
Frist day back at work since the 11th December seems like a lifetime luckily I could still remember my password but email doesnt work so waiting for IT.
So here we are a new year and I do kind of feel ready to tackle it refreshed after my holiday to South Africa.
I looked at the first post and these were my goals for 2012 so lets refleck and see how I have done.
In general:- Gym at least twice a week Done really well here I have managed almost 3 a week and still really enjoy it. Only managed one run in SA but did play golf and swam in the pool. Only put on about 2lb or so.:T
- Golf once a week Done ok here as well in the Summer at least took me a long long time to get going as MIL died and everything but played 6 times in SA and althoug I did not play yesterday and wont next Sunday this one will carry on next year.:)
- Alcohol 8 drinks a week max This one has really stood out for me I remember really struggling to do this but when DH got diagnosed with liver problems in early August I almost stopped drinking. I did have quite a few largers in SA but only 2.4%. Wine is always a spritzer now so I would say I am down to 2 or 3 max low alcohol drinks a week now. So pleased with this one and put credit this for my weighloss as well as Darren of course. :rotfl:
- No spend on gambling - no new casinos. This one is not so good hence the red colour. Really not stopped and although I did put a blocker on my laptop when my PC got fixed in December I did fall back in. Going to pay for a block for the PC and really stop this time. Dont want to loose anymore money and want to succeed in the new MF challenge on here as well.
- Keep going at least twice a week to the gym incl working out with Darren if he comes back.
- Golf at least once a week also in Winter
- Keep up only drinking low alcohol or max 2 drinks a week
- No gambling at all - full stop
Catch up later.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Just cannot get motivated for work as I had a bit of bad news from boss yesterday. Basically we have won a big contract in London which is going to make my life so much easier in terms of doing my job and getting appointments made. Unfortunately because I in the past had moaned about our inroads into London and the difficulties I with getting anywhere with it she has given it to my colleague. I am so fed up was really looking forward to that challenge and the goodwill it wil generate. Never mind onwards and upwards.
Did circuits last night was so good also booked DH in for a haircut at my gym he really really needs it and can never be asked to go into town to do it.
Need to book his blood test will do that next and his doctors appointment. Any excuse not to do any work but I do have some easy phone calls I can make.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Morning all, did Bodypump yesterday really good not done for ages as I used to work out with Darren on a Wednesday. He wasnt at the gym yesterday I wonder if he is coming back. Not sure I would need any sessions with him just now we left it that I would text him. What to do. Pleased that I have been 4 days in a row now shows that I am well into the habit and hopefully it will last. If I slip there is always Darren or someone else.
Not going tonight as its MIL birthday he is 88 today and still works full time in the business. I would not want to do that if I was his age, scary but hopefully we can sell the business and he can put his feet up.
Put a diary up in the bedroom with things we are doing and DH needs to do like doctors app etc. It seems to be working well as DH has got a lot better at remember things since we got back. I think he might just be getting better although he still drinks too much low acohol wine and he goes to bed at 8pm but still better than before.
Watched the ITV programme Trouble Abroad about people starting a new life abroad and it all goes pear shaped. Quite sad but you do wonder if they didnt do their homework properly. Some of them also seemed quite spoiled (women) and not really prepared to muck in. Most of them had huge mortgages on their houses aboard, thats just silly as they were all getting on in age. Mortgage free would have to be the way to go if I was to start a new life abroad.
Anyway must get on with some work, still need to fill that diary next week is looking good and 1st week of Feb is Cornwall but apart from that not great.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Waiting for old pc to load photos into photo box as I have a Groupon voucher that expires Monday for a photo book. I started 1 hour ago and it's on 70 out of 148 and I then have another file of 68 that needs up loading.
Went to bad mega early last night so woke up early what a grim day cannot believe we have been back a week my tan is so faded.
Went to Tesco got the usual shopping plus a great deal on citrus fruit. 2 packs of grapefruit (7) in total and 2 packets of lemons (23) in total for £1 plus 50 Tesco points. Made lemonade out of 13 lemons did think of lemon curd but never made it and it look fattening.
Going to old neighbours tomorrow afternoon so will have time to complete the book I just wish I had done it on the laptop as the pc is 7 years old and so so slow. Alternatively I should have deleted the photos I don't want copied over. Never mind will crack on with it done 9 in the time it's taken to write thisSave £12k in 25 No 49

Thought I'd post a Slimming World recipe for lemon curd, in case you get another cheap load of lemons:
Ingredients
Rind and juice of 2 lemons
Sweetener
2 Beaten eggs
1 small pot of virtually fat free greek yoghurt
Method
Put juice, rind, sweetener and eggs in bowl over simmering water
Stir until thickens (Make sure eggs don’t scramble)
Remove from heat add as much yoghurt as desired to required consistency
Keep in the fridge & consume within 4 days.

Thanks Denise that looks really nice as the normal one has loads of butter in it and I do that 11 lemons left just used one for my roast chicken.
Still downloading found another 61 to get up so now got 30 left. Photo book is only 50 pages so may have to get rid of a load which I really should have done before I uploaded them.
Just tried to weed the heart bed, too wet and cannot find my gloves hence why I started dinner instead.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hello TallGirl,
Have just started back on the MFW road and recognised your name, from the first rounds of MFi3.
SO glad to hear that you paid off your whole mortgage so early, well done you!
We did large scale renovation work and so the mortgage is way up again, but hey ho. It came down once, it will come down again I suppose!
Hope the new challenges go well.
