Ahh your all putting me to shame! Walking up the stairs is a huge effort for me now, that is the most exercise I get
I am housing a small person who apparently weighs 8lb already (eek!) so I will let myself off and read all your posts in awe
No you're putting us to shame... technically you're doing weight training 24/7!!!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -

Totally agree Ammonite hope all is going well when are you due?
I have been totally rubbish this week regarding food and gym thanks Mortgage reduction novice I know you are trying to make me feel better but it still pants. Did work out with Darren for the last time Tuesday, too busy staying away Wednesday, but could have done Circuits Thursday and worked out Friday. Was going to do Zumba this morning but we had my friend with ancient fiance staying as we did Danish Christmas last night. My father in law came down as well and actually it did feel like the 24th December with proper Danish menu and presents like we always do. Ofcourse Mother in law was missing and its kind of 2 weeks early but still good. Now I dont feel like we need to do anything really in South Africa maybe just light a candle and phone home on the 24th.
Two working days to go cannot wait now, really really need this holiday so tired and fed up with the cold, my work, my rubbis attidue to food gym etc.
Still tomorrow is Monday and I can do circuits, might not do much Tuesday as having my nails done at 6pm but might see if I can do a bit before that and have time to shower.
Sorted last Christmas present out DH is in the bath so might go and wrap it now together with some coins I have got for him and his brother as a present from the cats.
They got some many presents last night might just upload a few and share them with you in a minute.

Sorry never got around to uploading the picture with them actually using the toys they really like them. Jack is full of nots and my arms bear the wounds of me trying to brush him.
Today is my last working day before the 7th January how nice is that. I was due to go to Sittingbourne (2hour drive) but its cancelled so can catch up withy mountain of work instead in the import of my own home.
Did circuits last night really good and my back feels better today. I am sure I got a sore back because I only went to the gym last week once. Must try and keep it up on holiday how I am not quite sure.
Having my nails done tonight but I have wrecked the wo index finger ones so not sure it's worth having the, done really with gellish that lasts 3 weeks. Haircut tomorrow and hopefully can fit in getting my lashes dyed that would be me ready.
I don't do fake tan and not had time to get under a subbed plus its not good for you. Got high factor suntan lotion so will just be careful.
Think I shall look at packing tonight as we leave tomorrow at 12 noon. Got a MS at the airport plus paid for an airport lounge so will be busy using everything to the max.
Need to speak to two sets of neighbours who are cat sitting must do that today.
Did have a bit of a splurge yesterday in Lush, got a conditioner and a hair treatment thing £20 but used some of the money my FIL gave me for Christmas and it does last forever. Still part of the no toiletries challenge on the health and beauty MSE board. Counting everything bar make up I have 59 items. Not really my fault I got 4 ins on Saturday as presents. Anyone else have a habit of hoarding toiletries?
Did briefly step on the scales yesterday looked like I had put on 2 pounds in a week. I have been eating fatty foods and carbs and feel bloated all the time. Definitely want to stick with the no carbs after 5 pm it works for me. South Africa is quite a healthy place to eat lots of salads and veg and of course it's summer out there so no need for heavy comfort food.
Anyway enough rumblings must get on with some work.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Feeling a bit fed up just been to see my neighbors of 18 years who are also close friends and they are looking to sell. Well they are moving abroad for 3 years for him to work and then the plan was to come back here. Now they have put a deposit down for a house in Cornwall and it looks like they might sell here. I shall so so miss them for the next 3 years but now they are not coming back and Cornwall is 5 hours away its even worse.
Feel quite sorry for myself to be honest, really enjoy their company and the things we do together like gym etc.
Anyway life goes on I suppose and the interesting thing was they had two estate agent around to value their house and its looking like £300k or 298 hoping to achieve about £270k. Our houses are identical we have a slightly bigger garden but they have a conservatory. I would have thought £250k would have been it as that is the stamp duty so quite interesting really. I do hope they don't sell houses around here goes really quickly and they have been told £1250 a month rental is also a possibility.
Still got some work to do but counting down the hours now until I am off.Save £12k in 25 No 49

So here we are the first morning in South Africa at my BILs house. Did so much yesterday which was actually down to the flight being ok and managing to getting some sleep on board.
It wasn't that warn when we got here but got up to about 25 degrees. This morning it's again a little but hazy but getting warmer we are two hours ahead of the UK.
Funny thing happened yesterday when I went to the cashpoint I choose a random banks one and it said we have links with Barclays. I followed the instructions and asked for receipt and it printed out what money I have in that account in the UK in rands. Strange or what as its a normal Nationwide account.
Also went shopping with SIL for. Table cloth and saw a Nepresso coffee machine like mine . Ok mine was £50 off at £150 but 4260 rand is just scary (rand is 15 to the £).
Everything has to be imported so that is why something's are so high.
Today we are playing golf at 1.15pm turns out DH is still a member so that's very MSE. This morning chilling out, try the pool, maybe walk to the local SPAR shop (SIL has never done it but fancy trying ).Save £12k in 25 No 49

Off to Sun City today then the safari really looking forward to it. Have had some really nice days with swimming in he pool, reading on the deck, visiting niece and her family, shopping eating and drinking. Also went to the cinema yesterday very MSE. Price of ticket £3 price of popcorn and large drink £5.
No exercise and lots of carbs to trying not o think of Darren. There will be a lot of swimming and golf in the next 3 days.
Food is so cheap in the restaurants, 200g filet steak with chips £7 and 1 kilo of King Prawns (cooked in butter and garlic) served with rice, creamed spinach and butternut squash £12 and there was enough for 2.
Found that we both like Windhook light it's only 2.4% and I have only had 2 small glasses of wine (but several glasses of champers) since we have been here.
Got 11 in total for Danish Christmad dinner, they only have a plastic table that seats 7 but the kitchen is stat of the art with everything so I am sure I shall be fine.
Hope it's not too cold for you, will need to start packing DH is already in the bath.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Fantastic time at Sun City and safari park, golf course was though but really good stay.
Safari brilliant and real luxury travel agent sent us wrong travel instructions so we had to travel much further in BIL fancy Audi but all ended well and they paid our entire bar bill so the no drinking went out of the window very quickly. Rude not to run up a bit of a bill.
Sundowners on the deck in an hour made cheese and Parma ham twists difficult to get puff pastry to behave in the heat. Also cooking ricepudding in my bed ( not a typo it saves stirring it on the Stowe) and the ham is nearly done. Shopping complete just need to wrap up a few almond presents to play for at the pudding stage tomorrow.
Need a shower before the guest arrive hope you are not struggling too much with the weather fell so sorry for Cornwall and Devon.Save £12k in 25 No 49
