Thanks to all who replied wine saga should be over got some advice from Consumer Direct who were fab basically you have 7 days to cancel under the distance selling act from date of delivery. I left them a message to state this and the director called me back. Full refund if we put it in writting. I should have realised this about the DSR and it was also on their t&c. Big sigh of relief though.

DH has his fist counselling session on Wednesday and to be honest he already seems a lot better. Has cut down on booze so that has helped too.

I do realise even without the blood tests that is health is poor due to excess alcohol and I hope this is the wake up call he needs.

Still work has been good about this which is a bonus but they have laid off collegue so that is not good more work for me.

Just had a call saying they have refunded the money tonight at 6pm and could I check. I did but not showing yet guess its too late. Will do tomorrow though, such a relief that is. :j :j :j:j :j

DH has been good tonight and it seems a weight of his mind. He told me he couldn't believe he had fallen for that wine thing.

Also got some kindling for the outdoor fire £6.99 or two for £10 result.

    Hi TG

I can't believe it's two months since I've posted on your thread, the last 6-8 weeks seem to have dissapeared into a black hole for me.

I'm so sorry to hear about the really tough time you are having at the moment. I was sorry to hear about the loss of your mother-in-law but can see the situation with your husband is more difficult.

Thank goodness he has now been to the doctors and some tests have been started and I hope the results bring some comfort and a clear path of treatment.

So good to see that you have had the wine refund agreed that must have been a great relief and I know you'll do a big sigh of relief when the money hits your account. Good that TS are involved too

I know you said it is helping you to post on here but do you have a friend at home that can support you with this too?

    Regards

Thanks ATT my lovely friend popped in yesterday she has a lot of experience of mental health issues. Also my boss and colleagues have been great.

Spoke to DH at half time he wanted to talk about his appointment with the shrink tomorrow. He is clearly thinking things through with his feelings for his mum that must be a good thing.

    Morning TG

Thats good, I'm really pleased to know you've got someone to support you and the fact that your friend has mental health experience is even better; glad to hear your boss and colleagues are supportive too!

Apologies if I'm sticking my nose in but have you considered making some discreet enquiries at your husbands company just to check all is well there? I know he has his own company but some of his employees may have noticed something amiss too and not be sure what to do about it

    Take care

    Regards

Morning well yesterday didn't go well for DH. I called him at 3pm to remind him of his counscelling appointment. I told him to look up the address as ther as no postcode on the bit his dad had written it down on.

I got home at 4.45 and ther he was at home. He said he had gone there and couldn't find it he did not have his phone so couldn't ring a ask for directions. (it's at her home address and it's a house name rather than number). I asked if he had called her to tell her after he got home he said yes ah is emailing him a map to the office and he has an appointment tomorrow.

Something did not add up and as we have had this wih the do tors appointments I kept going at him and in the end he admitted he couldn't remember if he had called her. Her number was still in the car so I assumed by now he hadn't. Made a call to her and is now rebooked for today. I believe he went there and he didn't have his phone but why the lying about calling her after he got home.

Anyway ATT you make a valid point about the business but FIL at 87 is working full time there so keeps and eye on things. DH admitted yesterday he tried to order something twice but the supplier told him he had already done it. I want DH to makes notes about everything but he is not. Well let's hope he goes today his dad knows what time it is he has a map and his phone in the car and I know he does want to go.

I have. Got a sprain in my back I et this from too uh driving and not going to the gym so need to do something about that as it hurts. Driving to Hastings today so another long driving day.

Got letter from wine company they have refunding the money (credit card slips to show this incl) still not showing online but will keep checking.

Sorry for the moans but I actually thought his memory was getting better but clearly it's not.

Aw (((Hugs))) TG, I'm sure this is all very stressful for you all

Re your DH lying about calling the counsellor, I don't mean to do armchair analysis here but possibly he didn't even know he was lying, he might really have believed what he said at the time.

Also, he is probably no doubt very troubled by the situation and whilst not being able to actually remember calling her might have thought that as this is something he would normally have thought to do that there was no way he would not have done it so said he had. Sorry, I don't know that I've articulated that very well but no doubt worry and embarrasment and anger are all playing there parts here.

Your OH is not thinking in the same way as you right now (or not able to think in the same way because of whatever the problem is) and it's hugely challenging when others don't say or act in the way we would expect or want them too as we try to rationalise it and that's not always possible. Right, I think that's more than enough from non-qualified Dr Abouttimetoo ;)

When will you get a chance to stretch your back out or have some kind of deep tissue massage?

    Take care
