    Thanks guys.

Nice wekeend loved the weather finally got back into playing golf with the ladies on a Sunday felt so good even if I did play rank. Also found an outfit in the proshop, £50 for top and trousers but 1/2 price.

FIL invited himself down to watch the football yesterday afternoon glad he did. We had planned a BBQ so that was nice sat on the deck in the sunshine. Cannot use the patio as it got regrouted Saturday and we are not allowed to walk on it for 1 weeks.

Started looking at the Purina One trial we have been selected for, anyone else got it? My two seems to love the cat food you need to blog and give samples out. Anyway must get off to HQ got a teleconf at 10am so will have to stop somewhere on the way to dial in.

Take care and have a nice week.

Having a bit of a horrid time at the moment hence no posts. My husband is really not coping at the moment and is now suffering from memory loss. He has not been right for the last year he keeps complaining about leg pains and has not been able to play golf without a buggy. He never goes to the doctor and he refused to do so all that time.

Now he is suffering from memory loss so badly he has agreed to go tomorrow and I am coming with him. I am sure the memory loss is a reaction to his mother death and since then he is eating even less than normal. I am not sure what is wrong with him but something is not right.

My mum was here last week for 5 days and she noticed it the memory loss is enough to drive anyone crazy. He cannot remember dates times or even anything as simple as what phone calls he has made. I get all my parcels delivered to his office and I knew the pressure washer had been deliver from Amazon the day before. I asked him did you get anything? No I said are you sure its a pressure washer. Went and looked in the car and there was the large box on the back seat.

Another one was his dad and I kept getting at him so he would make a doctors appointment and he kept saying he had. In the end he said I have one tomorrow at 8am which I did not think sounded right and especially not with that particular doctor. He agrees I can come with him and of course there is no appointment. We make one and in the car back 10 min later I asked him what time his appointment is he says 3pm and its 8am.

He has also agreed to buy wine with Imperial Wines of London he paid a deposit of £100 and I know from my mum he handed over his card details (I was not in the room so could not stop it) No idea how much he has paid and he thinks he was bought 12 bottles to be delivered to home. Its a wine bond thing and he really needs to get out of it. They have agreed to call tonight so I can speak to them with his permission to sort it out.

Finally to top it all work is a total pain got so much to do and just cannot get on with it. They are fine about me going to the doctor with hubby etc just not enjoyed work at the moment.

Anyway enough moans going to stop working now and going to give my cat a cuddle. Might make me feel better.

    Thanks Gallygirl

Went to the doctor today and I must say she was really good.

She did a 10 question test for the memory loss and he failed two of them so she has given us a longer questionaire to complete for the next appointment. She sounded like the death of the mother was definitely related to it. My FIL has found a qualified councellor via the undertaker who we are going to get him to see as the next doctors appointment is not until 4th July.

Back to the doctors he is also having problems with tingiling in the legs and this means he has not played golf for a long time and genrally been suffering with this for at least a year refusing to see the doctor. She did some tests on him (physical) and she ordered the full blood tests suspecting excess alcohol, diabetes, vitamin deficientcy or poor lifestyle. Well to my mind it could be all of them he doesn't eat a lot even less since the death of his mother and yes he drinks too much 7 days a week. Blood test is 25th June but will take up to two weeks to get results hence the doctors on the 4th July.

Scary stuff but at least its being looked at now and hopefully he will agree to do something about his lifestyle. His dad is fully onboard and I would happily give up booze too.

Final scary bit which I have posted about on the consumer board is that he has bought 12 bottles of French wine to be stored in a bonded wine ware house for £3250 and he doesn't remember it. They say we are outside the 14 day cooling off period and want us to let them sell it for us. I can had a quick google and its at least £1000 too expensive what he has paid. They are calling me back today just praying we can cancel. Just shows how bad he has got really.

Sorry for all the crap I am posting but its actually helping.

    Hi TG

Really sorry to hear about your OH. Sorry I can't be of any help as I don't have any experience of what you are going through, but I hope everything sorts itself out.

I was just thinking about the problem you are having with the wine conpany. If it was me, I would contact Money Box on Radio 4 as they often cover cases such as these. It might come to nothing, but you have nothing to lose.

What a dreadful situation to be in, as if your OH's illness wasn't enough. It makes me so angry that they can take advantage of vulnerable people.

Btw, I read on your other thread that you cancelled the credit card. You still need to be careful as I heard on Money Box a few months ago that cancelling a card doesn't necessarily stop future charges being put on it in certain circumstances such as recurring payments.
