Managed to get a cheapy and not too horrendous lunch yesterday and have brought in leftovers today, yum yum.

Feeling very stressed at the moment as the people buying my house are being PITAs and I think I'm going to have to put the place back on the market soon as they are just being silly, trying to find faults where I've now had specialists in to show that there aren't any!

Money-wise, yesterday was a spend day and today could be, as I need to buy a baby present for a friend we're going to visit after school and also am getting low on petrol, but the present can come out of already allocated present funds and maybe I can get by without buying the petrol for another day?!?! Hmm......need to drive v-e-r-y carefully to see if I can stretch it to the weekend! I'm so fed up with the cost of petrol, I remember when it got to £1/litre, thinking that I'd never be able to drive again, and now it's £1.35 and I still feel that way, but of course haven't stopped having to drive to place....*sigh*

Hopefully seeing OH tonight, can't wait *swoon* :)

Well, today's the day that hopefully the buyers' fears over my house are allayed. I can't sleep for thinking about it.

Yesterday was a NSD, hopefully the first of many for February but I have to get petrol as the light went on yesterday!

Phew, the surveyor was shown to be a prize plum as there were no problems with the house and so hopefully we will exchange this week :)

I managed a couple of NSDs as well this weekend, hoorah!

My mobile bill was over £6 cheaper than I budgeted for and my BT bill is looking much cheaper too. I should really adjust my budget to reflect that my mobile is nearer £20 than £25 a month but I like feeling 'rich' when it comes in under budget!

Won't be feeling rich much once we move but oh it's sooooo exciting. DD and I have started packing, 3 boxes in the kitchen and a few suitcases of clothes upstairs :) Its scary how much I have to do but will be fabulous when its done, so I have to think of the upside to it all.

Today will be a NSD as with the ice on the pavements, I'm in the office and not going anywhere!

Oops, poor diary, how I've neglected you. Well, exchange has now happened and we move a week today, yippee!! It's all very exciting and the packing is going okay I think...luckily I have the key to the garage so am slowly but surely taking non-essential things over to the new place.

I'm doing quite well on the NSD front, up to 13 already for the month, hopefully today may be one as well as I've slipped and bought stupid stuff the past couple of days.

I now have a probable date for my operation of early next month which is great but also very scary. I've probably put weight on rather than take it off, bad me :( I've been having great acupuncture on my ankle which has helped me immensely, I have now walked down a couple of flights of stairs without holding on to the banister, which is very exciting :) I've not been able to do that for 13 years!

I hope once we move the internet and TV will work fine as I'll be recovering from the op for up to 6 weeks!!

Must get a builder round to see what needs to be done for the internal works I want/need to do at the new place.

The move went brilliantly, very long and tiring but it all got done and now I have the rest of my life to unpack :)

The internet works, hoorah! the tv less so, but they I haven't found my fview box yet.

I'm feeling skint on day 3 of the month as my final electricity bill for the last house is HUGE, very annoying, and I don't know how I could have got it so high, I must have been leaving a lot of things switched on, grrr. DD and I are planning a big trip to Co$tco but not sure now if it's doable....I think L!dl will get my business instead as whilst we love f&v from C and the milk we buy there is fabulous and no more expensive than supermarket stuff, its a long drive........

Ho hum, never mind, we LOVE our new house and are very happy so far with it all :)
