Reading through this thread has inspired me to sign up! It's very useful as we're planning a kitchen extension later this year; assuming we get approval we want to install something mid-range.
I had liked the look of Magnet but have read some terrible reviews about their service in particular. Has anyone used them and found them to be good?
Both I (in a previous house) and my parents have had a kitchen from Johnson and Johnson on Trafford Park in Manchester, and we were very pleased with the quality of the different kitchens we each bought, plus the installation and customer service.
However this was a few years ago now and I do know the company has been sold after going into administration, so I was wondering whether anyone has dealt with/bought from J&J over the past few months? Thanks in advance...0 -
I am currently planning my kitchen. Got pushed into having B&Q vouchers for wedding presents by my OH (as he thought btheir kitchens were good) to buy it but it is so expensive, the vouchers dont even cover the units cost and we need the electrics rewiring and all the white goods as well. Plus they have stopped doing offers like 'half price doors and an extra 10% off', they are just price matching now. I will not be using them for fitting as have nice elctrician/plumber who also fits kitchens.
I am also looking at DIY Kitchens so would be interested to hear what others think of them or if anyone has bought a kitchen from there?0 -
I have posted on other thread my howden units are great but never consider the appliances. Gas built in double oven set fire to the house after third repair. When replaced same fault over and again with the replacement. They was badged up as diplomat and now Lamona same crap different name, and as trade only no proper customer service or trading standards back up. Should have floated money in to the gutter and saved stress and unanswered phone calls to try and sort.0
