Even more frustrating than the "lets take A & C seat" couples in a bid to get a row for themselves are those (who there seemed to be an abundance of on my recent Tenerife flight) who do the "lets take C & D seats and get a row each!
Fine if there is room but when I have a 4 & 7 year old (so cant reserve myself a Exit seat) their choice is move or take responsibility for my children for 4 hours!
Common sense seems to be outruled by the greed for extra space on a plane by some people!MBNA [STRIKE]£2,029[/STRIKE] £1,145 Virgin [STRIKE]£8,712[/STRIKE] £7,957 Sainsbury [STRIKE]£6,870[/STRIKE] £5,575 M&S [STRIKE]£10,016[/STRIKE] £9,690 Barclaycard [STRIKE]£11,951[/STRIKE] £11,628 CTC [STRIKE]£7,629[/STRIKE] £6,789 Mortgage £[STRIKE]182,828[/STRIKE] £171,670

I don't see how taking seats C and D really reserve you both rows - I'd happily book into seats A or F (not that I'd ever reserve a seat anyway).
And if once they get on the plane, the choice is to either have 2 children sat next to them, or to move seats so you get a row and then the couple get the other row, I think you'll struggle to find people who would refuse to move!0 -
Ryanair have now made the last two rows available for reservation, bringing the total number of reserved seats on each flight to 45. With priority boarding now costing £7 the airline must be hopeful many passengers will view it as only having to pay a bit extra to have an assigned seat; it's only £3 more on most flights. Given what has happened at easyJet the days of the boarding free for all are looking numbered.0

As long as the seat I'm in is going to the same place as the rest of the plane, I'm happy.0

I see Ryanair have increased the fee for reserved seating to £15/€15 on "selected" routes but declines to list them. I think it used to be just Canaries flights where they charged the extra fiver.0
