Why on earth should it matter what a card looks like? You're right that a number of card companies do indeed try to lure customers their way by using this tactic, but personally if that's all it takes to attract someone to a particular card then more fool them0 -

ok. Maybe it's just me then (and the other person who posted to this effect earlier) but my view is that it's rather shallow to pick a card simply by how it looks. Even if one does pay it off each month, surely there are more important things to consider in choosing a card provider.0
