Not strictly a credit card but Abbey do a photo debit card.

Cost £5 so not exactly money saving but you can have what you want (certain ristrictions apply for copywrite reasons)

There are a few people in the office with them and the quality of the picture is good.

My girlfriend loves her kitten Capital One card.

As mentioned before Abbey allow you to upload your own picture on their debit cards but not credit cards as these are managed by MBNA. I know Capital One have quite a range of pictures if that kind of thing lights your candle. Personally I go for the best 0% deals
  • in my shop (im a store mamanger for a high street fashion store) the cards that stand out to me are the amex blue, the mint card with rounded corners, and a few of the capital one ones, my current fav being the one which is black and has 2 eyes on it!

I think one of our local cards is very striking, staffordshire building society has a white/green background with a staffy bull terrier in the middle.

When I worked in retail over the summer, ones that stood out were...

The Lloyds TSB Premier credit card... looks nice... sleek black (there is a pic on the website). The Premier debit card is similar though.

The award for the worst card design goes to Coutts. Horrible, seriously out-dated design. Light tan brown-ish, with coutts written all over it in small writing. Can't remember if it was a credit or debit card that one.

Too true. It doesn't matter in the slightest what they look like, it's their offer to you as a customer that's important. Don't be taken in by gimmicks

partnership card issued by HFC is a very subtle shade of green with a marble effect.
An eye opener except for the words John Lewis Waitrose written underneath.
I love using it in Asda and likewise using the ASDA card in Waitrose

..I have to disagree. There are a lot of people out there that take a great deal of notice as to what a card "LOOKS LIKE". Many of the credit card companies appreciate this and design is therefore very important. Take, for example, PLATINUM cards, which can basically be obtained by anyone now and no longer a "status" symbol. Sad, but true!!
