Help - please!

Hi

I have posted a question on here before regarding my problem but didn't get any advice.

We had a Secured loan which was taken out via a Broker (Click Finance) - I tried to start my claim a couple of years ago but gave up because I got a letter back saying that Click had gone into liquidation. Someone advised me to go through the Insurance company instead but it all seemed confusing and I didn't take it any further.

I have been thinking about it a lot lately and feel I shouldn't just 'give up' it's a lot of money at stake and I could really do with it right now.

so, my question is... Do you think I should go through the Insurance Company? Has anyone on here had any successes taking their complaint through the Insurance Company directly?

All advice welcome. Happy New Year guys xx

Over the years, I am ashamed to say that I have had about 6 or 7 credit cards so I made a list tonight and am going to call them all for a copy of the T&C's. It all seems like too much work but if I get my money back it will all be worth it.

You need to do this as you were advised early in december.

Find out who the insurer was,FOS can help you with this, they will tell you if it is worth persuing.

Put your mis sell claim into them and if they come back and say no,the FOS may be able to help you.

You dont need terms and conditions for cc,if you have statements showing ppi and you have reasons for mis sell

Then put a claim in,the credit card number is the account number.
  • Hi There,

Many thanks for your reply. I didn't realise that anyone had commented on my previous thread and tried looking for it, but couldn't find it!

I'm not very good on this site tbh, how did you find that?

I will go through all paperwork thoroughly today and find out the date the loan was taken etc.

    Thanks again
