Hi
I'm after some advice please so hoping one of you out there can help me.
My husband and I took out a large Secured loan about 7 years ago and upon looking for the paperwork we discovered that we actually went through a broker... Click.
We sent the PPI letter to Click, who then wrote back to us and said upon their investigations, we actually went through Click Finance Ltd, who have since gone into liquidation and gave us the liquidators' contact information.
This was last year and I ended up giving up! - Reading everyones success stories and upon reflecting, it annoys me that we can't claim back something which is rightfully ours (and we could REALLY do with the money right now).
Is this a lost course or are we still able to claim? if so, how?
PLEASE help.
Thanks

You may have to chase the insurer with this due to the year, give FOS a ring and they will help with this (finding insurer) they cannot help you with the claim because of the date, but if the insurer says no,then FOS can help you.

Hi there
I taken out a loan with Click Finance in 2004 and your correct that they have gone into liquidation, even though there are many groups with Click they have a few of them that are no longer active.
So if you did not take out your loan with them after Jan 2005, its possible you can go the underwriter/insurer direction as amersall said.
What I would do in your case now is contact the FOS, explain your predicament and they will advise you from there.
The name of the insurer/underwriter in our case - Hamilton Insurers.
So just to double check, what year was your loan taken out?
The Financial compensation scheme (FSCS) may be able to help if you taken it out after 14 Jan 2005, as the business became regulated then.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
