  • Bit fed up TBH :o Had to go to OH review appt this morning (just opposite my office - did think of popping in ... but didn't!).

It was OK (always find it hard to discuss myself with someone else IYKWIM) .... but she's going to set up another review appt towards the end of January - basically meaning she thinks it's highly unlikely I'll be able to go back before that (I've already been told I will need to go back on reduced hours & have to see OH before I can do that so ....).

Bit depressed at that as it just seems ages away IYKWIM:( - just getting a bit fed up and want to be back to normal!

Sorry - obviously needed to get that off my chest!:o

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that :( Can you plan to do some things between now and then, that you wouldn't normally get to do if you were at work?

You'll also have a phased return to work won't you? So it'll probably be a slow return to work :(

You don't want to rush it either, and then be ill again!

Thanks ...def a phased return - which is good TBH as being off for this long (and if it's going to be another 5-6 weeks, that's a long time) I'd really struggle to go back FT straight away as tiredness is one of the big side effects of the disease.

I'm going to work on a plan .... (you know how I like lists;))

Even just spending an hour a day trying to sort something out (have years worth of receipts / folders with bills etc in:o) and it would be good to get them cleared out and start afresh in the NY.

If you can think of anything not too strenuous & can be picked up / put down fairly easily - let me know!

Ooh, a sort out would be a great thing! Just start off with a small folder/pile of receipts, and be ruthless! :D

I'll start with the drawer that's full (literally - have been wondering how I'm going to squeeze this years' in) of receipts then ..... think they date back to around 2004 :rotfl: (they are all bagged neatly by year:o)

Now ... should I look through them - or just bin them without looking?

When I sort through receipts, I look at them first just to check it's not a guarantee or something, and then quickly shred them! :D
