That's a great amount on the savings fund there. It must be such a good feeling to have something behind you. And as Rising from the Ashes says the emergency fund is there to raid for things like maisie's vet costs. It hasn't gone on a credit card, which is something I would have done a few years ago!

piquant - it feels great to have quite a substantial emergency fund :) it's taken us a while to get there, but it's beginning to take shape! I have a feel it may have to be used on my car in the not-too-distant future though, but we shall see!
Jo - thanks! and yes :( I've asked him to make an appointment at the doctors as it's really beginning to affect me - I'm tired all the time, which means I'm a bit more grumpy that usual ;) and my concentration levels are up and down, which isn't good at work!
Going on from hubby snoring, I am sat in the office with a sneaky gingerbread latte from a well known coffee chain this morning. It's going to be a long day for lots of reasons (though how it's Wednesday already I'll never know!) and I have my tutoring this evening as well. I left the house at 7:15am and will probably not get back til 6pm at the earliest, so that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! :p
It does mean that it's not a NSD in the SF household :o oops.

The weather is awful here today; it's raining and is really gloomy and dark. It was definitely harder to get out of bed this morning with no sun shining :p

Today should be a NSD in the SF household; we don't need petrol and I've brought my lunch with me so I don't need to spend anything then. I do not need anything! (Need to remember that :rotfl:)

I am planning on going on the exercise bike tonight - I've not been on for ages and I really need to get back on it, along with healthier eating as I can feel the weight creeping back on. Why can't someone invent a chocolate bar with 0 calories? My life would be made! :D

Right then, I need a coffee... :coffee:

Well, today is NSD 12 for the SF household :) nothing has been spent and I am now home, and it's chucking it down so don't intend to go anywhere now ;)

Been on the exercise bike for 30 minutes and burned off 260 calories :) it's a start! :o

I've also transferred £869.43 over to the house deposit fund, which I'm pretty pleased about :D I'll get my pass book updated next month and then I can see where I am with house deposit #2 target, but we're well on the way! :D we're managed to save so much at the moment because we really aren't spending anything at all, it's amazing how much money you can waste on nothing, when you're not focused!
