It means they don't have any and order has been sent to manufacturing to make more.
Or alternatively they won't be getting any more in and will string you along for another month before refunding you...

i ordered on the 2nd to and rang yesterday as all it kept saying was new order, lady told me they were expecting more in on the 9th jan and order will be processed then. HTH

I received my confirmation yesterday, after I have ordered Tuesday morning.

The email mentioned that the stock refill will take place on the 9th and I should expect the dleivery one or max 2 days after.

Mine, ordered on 3rd, is also tracking as ETA 8th Feb.

I don't mind waiting that long as it will only be used as a secondary printer - but would prefer it if they fulfill the order from the 9th Jan re-stock.

Incidentally, someone mentioned earlier that this price was a special to HP employees. I think that is correct because if you shorten the URL to try and make it access the root-page for all products, it tells you that access is forbidden and that you do not have authority to use that page.

I also used to work for a company that was a large corporate customer of HP and we had access from our works computers to this webpage, but not from our home computers.

Mine has moved to 8 Feb as well so i phoned up to cancel my order as I have been offered one from Freecycle, when I gave the lady my order number she was like 'oh yes, there has been a problem with these items' and was a bit cagey so I wouldnt be suprised if the orders get cancelled? My paypal refund has already come through thankfully, hope everyone else gets on ok x

Maybe they are getting new stock in quicker than they thought?
