As it's a new year, I'm thinking about organising a Flylady meet somewhere down south for anyone who's interested. It's been ages since a group of us has met up for a good natter.

Thanks, froddy - this has reminded me. It's such a long time since I met up with mummyyof5 and valli in M'hell and I'd love to organise another get together. February half-term (11th-19th Feb, except for Thu 16th) would be good for me, as weekends will be very busy for a while if I'm going to make any progress with this place. Since I won't be able to keep up with the thread after tomorrow, pm would be best to make arrangements.

Good intentions - tax return is first thing on my list for tomorrow, as I really don't want to be doing it at midnight in the 31st when the servers get overloaded (again). It never takes as long as I think it will and it would be nice to get it out of the way.

Watched the secret life of bees, then had a long soak in the bath. Have taken more cold drugs (sleep inducing ones rather than the wakey-up ones I had during the day) but I still feel vile.... Off to red until I pass out now.

  • Please count me in - newbie to fly lady.

Boddy - I'm very sorry. Any death is difficult to deal with it, and just terrible when it is such a young person.

I've family coming over for dinner tomorrow - and I need to find my dining (spare/craft/office/all in one) room. I've my MOT on Tuesday, so I must find all my paper work for the car - which I carefully filed somewhere in the room, but I'm damned if I can remember where! Please flylady please help me to be more organised so I'm not running around last minute looking for paper work and embarrassed about the state of the place when people come over for dinner!

    Wash floors in Living room/kitchen
Finish filing in spare room before family come over

Can I join please? I'm another newbie on this thread. I can never seem to keep my flat neat and tidy for a prolonged period of time. This sounds like a great way to start.

    Morning All

Boddy & Moobear - condolences and healing thoughts to the families and friends involved.

G&B - hope DD has a great day!

Well it's my DD's birthday today - double figures - so her friend slept over last night and we are going out for dinner today. They didn't go to sleep until late though so I'm not expecting them to be up yet! Back to school and work tomorrow so early nights all round tonight and sorting out of uniforms, etc.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs
